This is Pluto the Poodle’s page. He’s our baby. He’s not really a dog, he’s more like a human. He has feelings, he speaks, he plays, and he totally gets life.
He loves homemade cookies. Here’s his favorite, fire hydrant shaped chicken flavor peanut butter cookies made with that special mommy love. Why the fire hydrant? Because we are a fire family. Pluto’s daddy is a fire fighter, so we have a fire theme going on here.
- 2 cups of chicken stock (I reserve my stock from my roasted chicken on Monday nights, I save the hearts, liver and neck for this recipe, but you don’t have to go through all that work if you use store bought stock)
- chopped chicken livers, heart and meat from the neck (if you roasted your own chicken).
- 1/2 cup cactus sugar, or honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Mix stock, sugar and peanut butter in a bowl. Then add:
- 1 cup of wheat flour
- 1 cup of white flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Spray your molds with a non stick spray. Pour batter into a piping bag (use a ziplock and cut a hole in the corner), then pipe batter in your silicone mold. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool your cookies before treating your sweet pooch. Now, love your pooch!

If you don’t want to make the cookies, send me message and I can ship out a taste for your fury baby. I’ll send a vacuum sealed sample in 3-5 days.
