Who’s hungry? Oh, C’mon, meaty ribs, bloody heart and some guts…yum! My son loves ribs but for some reason he wouldn’t touch this Halloween appetizer.
- Ribs: Use your favorite recipe for spare ribs, or get a package of ready-made at the local supermarket
- Sausage links
- Red bell pepper roasted on an open flame
- Thinly sliced deli meat
- 2 olives
- Spinach leaves
- One skull, preferably plastic, not real please.
Use your favorite platter/tray and lay down the spinach (any green would work). Wrap your fake plastic skull with the thinly sliced deli meat of your choice. Plug in the eyeballs with your favorite olives, arrange the ribs and guts (sausages) and place the heart (red bell pepper) in the center under the ribs. If you can find tiny swords as toothpicks, that would be perfect to stab this cadaver. Take this dish to your potluck party and it will be a hit. Happy Halloween!
